The GDP per capita indicates how wealthy or how poor that country is and with nearly 40 years of experience we know roughly the relation between the marketsize for lighting products (for as far as we can supply them) and such a GDP. Even very poor countries spend money on lighting needs as it is one of the first human needs provided electricity is available.

The richer a country is, the more money is spend on lighting both in the private and in the government spendings.

Therefore, your success with your franchise in a certain countrry will be measured according to the table here below. From this table we will together with you arrive at a target to be achieved after a couple of years hard work. LOHUIS, with with what we are and what we are not will soon qualify for a marketshare of 5% worldwide. The figures given are the target to be reached per 1 million inhabitants in a country according to the gross national product of such a country.

The figure may be adjusted downwards if high importduties exist or may be upgraded when special features such as re-export opportunties exist. Together with you we will reach at a reasonable target for the marketplace that you wish to call YOURS within the world wide Lohuis Family of franchisees and distributors. Increased competition in more wealthy countries is also taken into consideration.

This table is also workable for distributors if and when they wish to be exclusive in a certain marketplace.
