ADVANTAGES OF CFL OVER INCANDESCENT LIGHT (GLS)

While incandescent lamps convert 95% of electricity into heat, and only 5% into light, CFLs convert more than 80% electricity into light. Hence less loss of energy as heat.

CFLs
work without any problem in a wide voltage range (170 - 250V) thus having in-built resistance to power fluctuations.

Generate 80% less heat, hence reduces load on air-conditioners.

CFLs consume less energy (70-80%), thus saving on electricity bills.

Low maintenance cost.

Each kWh saved equals average saving of 0.8 Kg Carbon Dioxide in energy production by gas, coal, fuel power plants thus conserving natural resources.

ADVANTAGES OF CFL OVER FLUORESCENT LIGHTS (FTL)

13 % more efficient due to electronic ballast.

More compact. No extra starter needed.

Easier to replace. Less frequent replacement.

No flicker. Reaches full luminous flux within just 45-120 seconds.

Less maintenance cost.

Lower weight and size, having more attractive shape.

Consumption of ballast less than 3 W per 36W/40W lamp.

ADVANTAGES OF CFL WITH ELECTRONIC BALLAST

Low heat generation: virtually no fire risk.

Low voltage operation, lighting up even at 70% of the rated supply voltage.

Can withstand over-voltage up to 130% of the rated supply voltage.

No separate starter needed.

Long life: more than 10,000 hrs.*

CHROMATICITY CHART

The adjacent Chromaticity Chart is a scientific representation of various colour temperatures of artificial light sources and is indicated in the chart by Chromaticity coordinates X & Y. CFL renders much better light in comparison to the other light sources.

We follow this chart very closely and offer  CFLs in any desired colour temperatures to our valuable customers.
